The CT17C Series, will offer a USB attached CT-17C with added filtering and now the user will be able to use RTS and DTR signals from the PC to key as he wishes radio functions like PTT, FSK RTTY, CW, etc... via FULLY OPTO ISOLATED open collector ports.
This unit should be available in 1 USB port, 5 CI-V Ports with one RTS/DTR port (thus 2 signals)
and a version with Bluetooth added.
Well, After 35 years on top of my tower my not so great 4 elements Yagi from a JUNK fest was in TERRIBLE SHAPE!
So like always why not make things more difficult but A LOT BETTER.
Our soon to be released new member of the CT-17B product line will be a Bluetooth based CT-17B-6BT (and yes the video is wrong, I changed the name after making the video and was too lazy to redo the video :P )
The CT-17B-6BT features five RF filtered CI-V ports, Micro-USB RF Filtered power port, a full windows 10 supported Bluetooth chipset, 3D printed enclosure, magnets to help with installation.
This will give you the possibility of completely isolate your computer from your Ham Station. I a Ham Shack near you soon!
You will find the documentation at https://www.dropbox.com/s/hz8k2d6y6smiyjz/CT-17B-6BT%20Manual%20Vers1_01_00%201.pdf?dl=0
One of our very first Ham Radio electronic projects, the GS232Duino project was key to the K3NG production of his version. It is an Arduino based rotor controller, supporting both GS232B and GS232A Yeasu protocols.
We are hoping to revive the original GS232Duino Ham Radio electronic project by late 2020 with a touch screen version supporting AZ, EL, AZ/EL, and Dual AZ protocols.
Production date: End of 2020.
With the help of Rene DF9GR creator of the ERC great products, https://www.schmidt-alba.de/eshop/ created and documented a new Ham Radio electronic communication protocol based on the GS232A and GS232B existing protocols.
The Dual Az protocol offers the Rotor controller manufacturers the possibility to integrate dual azimuth control to their designs.
The IAC1 is a Ham Radio AUTOMATED ICOM electronic controller for the Yaesu ATAS100/120 family of antennas, using coax injected control it will monitor the radio frequency and SWR and tune the ATAS100/120 to the proper position.
The project is well on its way, the prototype is working but we are looking at making wirelessly linked control panel using micro-controllers to make the installation and operations easier.
Production date: Summer 2020.
The IMK1TS is the original design ICOM keypad Ham Radio electronic development project in the IMK family of products, The IMK1TS is touchscreen-based, can manage two radios at once and gives the user access to all 8 memories of the voice keyer via CI-V interfacing.
It features, dual CI-V ports, dual footswitch memory keying, eight memory buttons, two radio select buttons, PTT, Footswitch PTT keying, RF filtered ports, Microprocessor-based.
We ran into major issues with the intended touch screen not being responsive enough for the Ham Radio Contesting environment.
This project is on hold until a proper Capacitive Touch Screen can be found.
If you have touchscreen suggestions let us know.
Production date: Unknown
The IMK1T will be a tactile version of the IMK1 ICOM Ham Radio Electronic design, using tactile pushbuttons it can manage two radios at once and will give the user access to all 8 memories of the voice keyer via CI-V interfacing.
It features, dual CI-V ports, dual footswitch memory keying, eight memory buttons, two radio select buttons, PTT, Footswitch PTT keying, RF filtered ports, Microprocessor-based.
The development is moving along fine, PCB design is in the works and should be sent to production before the end of May 2019.
Production date: Summer 2020.
Coming SOON to an HAM Radio Station near you! The IMK2 will be a tactile electronic eight memories keypad for the higher end ICOM radios like 7800 and 7610 that have access to the KEYPAD port in the back of the radio.
It features, dual footswitch memory keying, eight memory buttons, Oversized PTT button, MUTE Button, one SPARE button offering one N.O. output for accessories, 3D printed enclosure and RF filtered ports.
The development is moving along fine, PCB is in production and should be offered to our users by June 2020.
Production date : June 2020.
Also soon to in production! The IMK3 will be a tactile four memories keypad for all ICOM radios in your Ham Radio station with memories keyers, using the standard Microphone based interfacing, the IMK3 is a LOT MORE than just another memory keypad..
It features, dual footswitch memory keying, four memory buttons, LARGE PTT button, PTT footswitch port, Powered auxiliary microphone port, standard ICOM GX16 microphone port, Headphone jack in the front of the IMK3, Rear switched (by the headphone jack!) auxiliary audio output, UP/DOWN buttons, two spare buttons offering two N.O. outputs for accessories, 3D printed enclosure, TX and POWER LEDs and RF filtered ports.
The development is moving along fine, PCB is in production and should be offered to our users by June 2020.
Production date : June 2020.
The IMK3B is and IMK3 on STERIODS for your Ham Radio Station!
The IMK3B as all the features of the IMK3, dual footswitch memory keying, four electronic memory buttons, LARGE PTT button, PTT footswitch port, Powered auxiliary microphone port, standard ICOM GX16 microphone port, Headphone jack in the front of the IMK3, Rear switched (by the headphone jack!) auxiliary audio output, 3D printed enclosure, TX, Power and Radio select LEDs, two radio select buttons, Microcontroller based radio switching and RF filtered ports.
The development is moving along fine, PCB is in production and should be offered to our users by June 2020.
Production date: June 2020.
Our VE2DX SL-1 will be a very simple Microprocessor-based controller for the SGC Smarttuner, it will feature RF filtered inputs and outputs, Microprocessor based switching, Lock tune with indicator, Tuned indicator, Power indicator, Reset and Lock pushbuttons, a 3D printed enclosure with magnets and Velcro to help installation.
We are working on a prototype and hoping to have it available by the end of summer.
When their is a problem their is a solution, the need to better handle rolls of soldering made me create this simple support
This SLA Printed bracket is simple and solid and great help organising the shack
Our VE2DX Kenwood TM-D700 Mounting Bracket was made to help to mount the TM-D700 or TM-D710 under a shelf.
This SLA Printed bracket is simple and solid and great help organizing the shack.

VE2DX ELECTRONICS is happy to introduce TrueTTL, this new signal processing approach of ICOM CI-V signals will guarantee that if an OEM CI-V signal is submitted to a VE2DX HUBS or other devices it will be processed to make the resulting ICOM CI-V signal output to an ICOM RADIO or other OEM devices will ALWAYS BE PURE TTL LEVELS. This process also includes RF filtering of all signal I/Os.
This will give users the best CI-V signal performance, signal integrity, maximum link length, prevent RF interference, etc…
VE2DX ELECTRONICS will have multiple new products announcement in 2023.
