The WIARC sponsored Ham Radio DXPedition to Grindstone in 2001. VE2DX (As XM2DX) was part of the XM2CWI team during the 2001 DXpedition to GrindStone Island IOTA NA-038/CISA PQ-004 and 2001 IOTA contest. XM2CWI team was made of VE2YAK, VE2AYU, VE2SEI, VE2TBH, VO1NO, VE2DX, and VE2WHO.
