The VE2DX ICOM NEEDLE METER (IM1-N4BT) was introduced by WWW.VE2DX.COM in august 2022, it is one of our many meter offerings.
How does it work?
The VE2DX ICOM NEEDLE METER (IM1-N4BT) is based on a fully integrated ESP32 platform, it can be paired with your IC-705, and once paired it will probe the radio in real-time to show the radio Frequency, or if your radio does not have Bluetooth simply connect your CI-V cable to the VE2DX CT17B-Micro internal hub and VOILA! you can see Mode, filter setting, and also one of the 3 following SWR, Real Power or S Meter, in both texts and also as a Needle on the usual radio-style scale.

The ICOM Meter supports 18 different ICOM radios via Cabled or Bluetooth;

Have you got a larger battery?
Yes, I agree the original 35mAh Battery is very small and a larger battery is needed if you don't want to use it with USB Power.
So I am now offering the 750mAh battery as an option for the VE2DX Meters (Hint!!!!)).
