ok, well testing the new IMK1Jr CI-V 8 memories keyboards... and here is the list of compatible ICOM radios;
ICOM 705, 7300, 7610, 7850, 7851, and 9700.
And YES! that first one was the ICOM IC-705, with my new IMK1Jr, you can use it to trigger all 8 memories from your radios keyer, here are the complete specs;

Winter 2020
Early Trial and error experiment with Arduino Platform.
The programming test showed clearly that it was working even with dual radio interfacing where the radio was selected via buttons on the IMK1 and linked via 2 distinct CI-V bus.
Rapidly ran into problems since most touch screens were Resistive and not Capacitive.
Summer 2020
IMK1 project was then put aside to make place for a pure hard solution for the microphone-connected radios The IMK3.
This IMK3 a lot more than just a basic 4 memory keyer, it also offered 2 microphone input, audio output, up and down freq keys, etc...
Board designs were completed and worked fine but 3D enclosures were more difficult than planned to create.
Summer 2020
Part of the IMK3 project included the IMK2
This was to take advantage of the Keyboard input in the back of the 705, 7610, 7850, and 7851, offering the user 8 memories.
Fall 2020
IMK3 was upgraded to support the microcontroller-based Relay Board,
This gave the IMK3uP the flexibility of switching on the fly between two radio microphone connections, thus not only controlling the 4 memories but also the audio.
Winter 2022
IMK2Jr was introduced as a low-cost 8 memory keyer for the 705, 7610, 7850, and 7851.
Winter 2022
IMK3Jr was introduced as a low-cost 4 memory keyer for the newer ICOM radios since the 756ProIII series.
Winter 2022
IMK1Jr is based on some of the work done in 2020 on the original IMK1.
Based on an ESP32 fully integrated platform, the IMK1 using the CT17B-Micro2, offers dual radio support and dual Footswitch support.
