ok, well testing the new IMK1Jr CI-V 8 memories keyboards... and here is the list of compatible ICOM radios;
ICOM 705, 7300, 7610, 7850, 7851, and 9700.
And YES! that first one was the ICOM IC-705, with my new IMK1Jr, you can use it to trigger all 8 memories from your radios keyer, here are the complete specs;

- ESP32 Based fully loaded platform.
- All inputs and grounds are fully RF filtered to limit RFI.
- 8 keys, Stop Key, Radio 1 or Radio 2 select, and PTT.
- 2 fully RF filtered to limit RFI External 3.5mm footswitch jacks to trigger two menu selected meories..
- Two fully RF filtered to limit RFI external 3.5mm jack to connect to 705, 7300, 7610, 7850, 7851, or 9700 CI-V jacks of the CT17B-Micro2 or via Bluetooth for the 705.
- Fully Ground shielded PCB on both sides to limit RFI.
- Four magnets to fix your keyer on your radio.

Early Trial and error experiment with Arduino Platform.
The programming test showed clearly that it was working even with dual radio interfacing where the radio was selected via buttons on the IMK1 and linked via 2 distinct CI-V bus.
Rapidly ran into problems since most touch screens were Resistive and not Capacitive.

IMK1 project was then put aside to make place for a pure hard solution for the microphone-connected radios The IMK3.
This IMK3 a lot more than just a basic 4 memory keyer, it also offered 2 microphone input, audio output, up and down freq keys, etc...
Board designs were completed and worked fine but 3D enclosures were more difficult than planned to create.

This was to take advantage of the Keyboard input in the back of the 705, 7610, 7850, and 7851, offering the user 8 memories.

IMK3 was upgraded to support the microcontroller-based Relay Board,
This gave the IMK3uP the flexibility of switching on the fly between two radio microphone connections, thus not only controlling the 4 memories but also the audio.
