The VE2DX ICOM DUAL METER (IM1-Dual4BT) was introduced by WWW.VE2DX.COM in august 2022, it is one of our many meter offerings.
How does it work?
The VE2DX ICOM DUAL METER (IM1-Dual4BT) is a combination of the ICOM VE2DX ICOM NEEDLE METER and VE2DX ICOM DIGITAL METER in the same unit and selected at BOOT time based on a fully integrated ESP32 platform, it can be connected to 18 ICOM radios, and once connected or paired it will probe the radio in real-time to show the radio Frequency, Mode, filter setting, SWR, Real Power, S Meter, and more in both text and also as a Needle on the usual radio-style scale or common 705 display.
So what do you offer?
Well simply, a complete turnkey meter is a bit larger than most traditional S-Meters to help you free up your ICOM Radio display for better use.

Have you got a larger battery?
Yes, I agree the original 35mAh Battery is very small and a larger battery is needed if you don't want to use it with USB Power.
So I am now offering the 750mAh, 1Ah, 1.5Ah or 2Ah battery as an option for the VE2DX Meters (Hint!!!!)).
Soon 1000mAh and 2000mAh !

How does it work?
Fairly simple, the platform has both firmware in them, when you boot the unit, you will see 3 dots ( ... ) show up at the top of the screen, before the third one comes up hit the center button.
And you will then see a menu offering the VE2DX ICOM NEEDLE METER or VE2DX ICOM DIGITAL METER using the Left or Right button and select using the center button.
The rest is history!
